UFWDA JOINS WITH SEMA TO PROMOTE RECREATION

San Diego, CA (Nov 6, 2006): The United Four Wheel Drive Associations (UFWDA) was a participant in the recently concluded Specialty Equipment Manufacture's Association (SEMA) trade show in Las Vegas, NV.

This year marked the 14th year that UFWDA has participated in the SEMA show. With over 216,000 in attendance to view a wide variety of auto accessories in over 3 million square feet of display area, SEMA is an important venue to promote the UFWDA message of "protecting, promoting, and providing recreation opportunities."

John Stewart, Director of Environmental Affairs and highly experienced advocate, noted, "SEMA provides an excellent opportunity to extend the message of advocacy to protect and promote our recreation heritage to industry representatives." During the four-day trade show, UFWDA representatives spoke with visitors from across the nation and many foreign countries.

Joining Stewart representing UFWDA were Team Rockstomper, a UFWDA associate business member, and members of the local Nevada United Four Wheel Drive Association. Shawn Pagan, spotter for Team Rockstomper stated, "Rockstomper benefits from the relationship with UFWDA and Rockstomper thanks UFWDA for the opportunity to be present at SEMA."
