U.S. FOREST SERVICE OHV ROUTE DESIGNATION RULE

On July 15, 2004 the U.S. Forest Service proposed a new rule to amend regulations regarding travel management in our National Forests to clarify its policy related to motor vehicle use, including OHV use. The public was given until September 13, 2004 to comment on the proposal. A final rule is not expected before December 1, 2004.
