FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

UNITED LAND USE CONFERENCE ANNOUNCED

Lakeside, CA (June 12, 2006): The 2006 United Land Use Conference (ULUC), sponsored by the United Four Wheel Drive Associations (UFWDA), will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel and Conference Center in Oakridge, TN on July 14-15, 2006.

The conference will feature presentations on the U.S. Forest Service National OHV Policy and Route Designation, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and grassroots activism.

Additionally, a roundtable discussion will review a list of issues identified by national recreation groups as significant areas of concern impacting recreation. These issues were identified at the 2nd National Leadership Summit on Recreational Access co-hosted by UFWDA and American Motorcyclist Association in October 2005.

The roundtable will give conference participants, expected to be regional landuse or environmental affairs representatives, an opportunity to discuss how these issues impact their region.

All interested parties are invited to attend. There will be a Conference Registration Fee of $60 per person. For more information or to confirm registration at the ULUC, please visit the UFWDA web site at http://www.ufwda.org/ .

The ULUC will follow the UFWDA Annual General Meeting. Additional information for the convention is available on the UFWDA web site at: http://www.ufwda.org/ .
