There is a large Car Show in the area that gives away a fair amount of event profit money to motorized organizations each year.
I have a member who is interested in trying to obtain funds for United.

Who would be the best person to assist with some phone or email Q&A from him?
I know everyone is super busy getting ready for Convention right now, but I can't pass up an opportunity for some "free" money.

I would suggest Marti Pugh, UFWDA's new Business Development Manager... She can be reached at business@ufwda.org, 434-465-5302, or by US Mail at 14525 SW Millikan Way #22622, Beaverton, OR 97005-2343.

She is on the forums...  so she might see this but you might be better of calling her or sending an e-mail.

When is the car show, and is it worth while to try and have someone put a booth there?
If they allow 4X4's, then it would put our name out there also.

Thanks for finding this, and letting your member work this.  I am sure Marti will assist as needed, or take the lead if needed.
Sometimes haveing a local contact, may work better.

Sorry about that, I just read the thread today. I would love to talk to you about it and find out more information. You can either post here or call me at (434)465-5302. Hope to talk to you soon.
