This brings up a good point about watching what photos you post on your club web sites, web shots, and photo bucket. I know there are others out there, but we have seen these pictures be used against us in various forms.
Please be careful of what is posted.
Many forum moderators are also making it so you have to register to use the forum. This is good, in that you can try to control who is coming in, and possibly check the new people against a list of who is on some of the different anti-access groups lists. This can be time consuming though and probably combersome also.

On the other hand.. many of the activities and pictures posted are neither illegal or harmful to the environment. They are used out of context and the fact that people "hide" what we legally and rightfully do just makes it worse when someone who doesn't know what is going on sees it for the first time. Walkig out of our homes and going to work in the morning is environmentally changing... do we stop taking pictures and sharing that new years campfire?
The problem is that the sport of wheeling is so easy to attack - true or not.
The solution is a public campaign - a campaign telling what the true story is. Giving people the facts and exposing them to wheeling for what it really is. The problem is that this type of campaign costs money - and when people get to the point where they think it is a neccesity it is too late.
