While discussing this with my husband, your comments have inspired us to add a statement at the bottom of our Tech Inspection sheets that will explain that the Tech Inspection is by no means a certified report of the safety of one's vehicle...etc.

That's a great idea.  And no offense taken here.  I figured it to be constructive discussion.

I will finish up the vehicle safety checklist later this weekend.

It appears as though we will be hosting an event next year, and will need this list for our event.

I had put together this list. I did not have a logo to put into the page. Make what changes you see fit. I had taken all that I downloaded and combined all that I thought pertained.
