Alrighty, The Camp site is opened for the Wheel in. Please let me know if you will be coming.

$10 per tent per night.

This is primative camping, Trucks with trailers are good, but motor homes arent gonna make it down the road to the site.

E-MAIL me at gajackson@comcast.net to reserve a spot. And send me your name, Addy, and phone #

Just to specify, is this the site used for the pre-runs for camp jeep?  or another site?

Its another site that was organized by some of the Trail Guides from Camp Jeep this past summer.  Just about as close as the one you are thinking of.

I'm interested. I'm not familiar with the camp sites used other than where everyone stays at the VA4WD annual run. Got any more info? Will there be facilities? campfire? etc? Who/where do I send the $10?

Hey Gregg.

Just want to make sure that I understand exactly what's happening.  Is the Camp Site for anyone attending that wants to camp, and is it OK to pass along your email address so that they can set it up with you?

Thanks, be well,
Richard

Yes the Campsite will be open to all United members attending the ride. I will collect the money at site.

The campsite is located in Shipman, which if you went past the estate from the staging area, followed to the stop sign, make a right and it is 1/4 mile down the road another right to the camp site. I will send out directions once we get closer to the event.

There will be porto johns, and there is a well there for washing water. It is pretty much a cow pasture. but most sites are shaded all day, and its out of the way. No problems with camp fires as long as there is not a fire ban.

Here are a couple of pics from Camp Jeep.
