WOHVA would like to salute our friends at the Wisconsin County Forests Association! On February 8th, the Board of Directors of WCFA met in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Mike Roiger (long time friend of WOHVA) introduced a motion for WCFA to support AB 600. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously!!! OHV enthusiasts will recall that AB 600 is a Bill to increase representation by motorized recreationists in the Wisconsin Governor's State Trails Council!
In 1968, the Wisconsin County Forests Association, Inc. (WCFA) was established to provide a forum for the consideration of problems, programs and policies of the county forests. WCFA is a non-profit organization, whose members are County Forest Administrators and elected County Board officials who serve on their respective County Board Forestry Committees.
This is a ringing endorsement by a group of professionals who support multiple uses of Wisconsin forests to not only expand timber production, but to provide recreation, wildlife habitat and watershed protection.
Thank you WCFA for supporting AB 600 and OHV recreation here in the Badger State!
