The following information went out in an email today to all of the participants. I am putting the information here in case you did not receive the email.

WHEEL-IN REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION and EVENT INFORMATION

Thank you for participating in the 2008 Wheel-in Event for the east coast in Virginia!
Your participation in this event helps to secure future land use for all involved in our sport!
WHEEL-IN SCHEDULE:
Thursday:   
4:00 - 9:00 p.m. - Check in for participants
4:00 - 9:00 p.m. - Vendor area open for participants
7:00 p.m. - Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Team Winch and Recovery Seminar
8:30 p.m. - Free raffle winner announcement

Friday:            
8:30 a.m. – Driver’s Meeting at staging area
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Trail rides
4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Vendor area open for participants
7:00 p.m. - Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Team Winch and Recovery Seminar                     
8:30 p.m.  - Free raffle winner announcement

Saturday:         
8:30 a.m. – Driver’s Meeting at staging area
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Trail rides
4:00 p.m. -Vendor area open for participants
5:00 p.m. -Catered meal for participants
6:30 p.m. -Raffle
9:00 p.m. -Concert starts
12:00 p.m.- Concert and Wheel-in ends

PARTICIPANT CHECK-IN
Check-in for the event will begin Thursday, April 10, 2008 in the vendor area of the event (near the horse race track). The check-in will be located in the United Four Wheel Drive Associations booth at the end of vendor row. The area will be well marked and you will not be able to miss it. Every participant must check-in. At check-in you will receive a participant packet with meal tickets, your t-shirts, a schedule and other items. This is also the time to register for the free raffle! 
RAFFLES
A free driver’s raffle will take place both Thursday and Friday at the vendor area of the Wheel-in at 8:30 p.m., and you MUST be present to win. The raffle items on Thursday and Friday evening have over a $1,000 value each night!
There will also be the grand finale raffle on Saturday night with over with great big ticket prizes.  Tickets for Saturday’s big raffle will be sold Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.  Saturday raffle ticket prices are $1/ticket or $20 for a “wing-span”!
FOOD
Food for purchase will be available by food vendors at the Vendor area of the Wheel-in from 4:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday evenings. Participants will not need to leave the vendor area for food in the evening so that they may be present for the free raffle – MUST be present to win.
The catered meal will be available Saturday evening. The catered meal will require pre -ordered tickets, no on-site ticket sales for Saturday evening. If you are a registered participant one Saturday evening meal ticket was included with the price of your registration and the ticket will be included in your registration packet at check-in.  Any additional Saturday evening meal tickets purchased in advance will also be in your registration packet.   
Bring lunch and any supplies you need during the day as you will be on the trail all day with no opportunity to leave the trails in most cases, unless in an emergency.
T-SHIRTS
T-shirts will be distributed in your registration packet at check-in on Thursday evening. If you are unable to make the check-in Thursday evening, you may email business@ufwda.org and let us know that you will be unable to make the Thursday check-in and we will make arrangements for you to check-in Friday morning. We would like for you to try and make the check-in Thursday evening so that you have an extra opportunity for the free raffle giveaway. 
DRIVER’S MEETING FOR TRAIL RIDES
Participants must be at the staging area of Oak Ridge for a driver’s meeting by 8:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday morning. The trail guides can NOT wait for latecomers.  If you are not present at the driver’s meeting both mornings you will miss your opportunity for the day.
POWER WHEELS COURSE AND TRAIL RIDE
There will be a trail ride for the children from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday. You will need to provide your own power wheels vehicle to participate, none will be provided by event coordinators. At least one parent must be present on the trail ride. More details will be given at check-in.
There will also be a power wheels course at the vendor area for children to play on. You will need to provide your own power wheels vehicle, none will be provided by event coordinators.  At least one parent must be present at the power wheels course. The power wheels course will be open from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.   
Don’t forget to charge your power wheels battery before you arrive!

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO EVENT
I-64 is a main highway traveling east to west through the state of Virginia and can be easily accessed off I-95 or I-81 which travel south to north through the eastern seaboard.
DIRECTIONS TO OAK RIDGE:
Directions from Central Virginia
I-64 west to Route 29.
Route 29 south.
Pass Lovingston, VA on your left.
Pass Nelson County High School on your right.
Look for Route 653 – Oak Ridge Road.
Go left on 653 – Oak Ridge Road.
After 1/4 mile, Rt. 668 – Diggs Mountain Road - goes off to the right.
The staging area is marked by a large gold statue of Atlas
