Interesting material Luana and thanks for keeping on with it.  It is fascinating to see that UFWDA appears to have started as a predominantly West Coast orientated organization and has now morphed to be weighted to the East Coast.
Can we use that 'challenge' to invoke interest again from those original organizations?

How many pages is it?

I could still scan it and attach it here, or email the pdf's to you or the current BOD's.

I'm not sure, but I think Rob St. Clair gave me a box of old UFWDA stuff from Harold Brown several years ago.  All that, and lots more, would have all been sent to Carla in April of 2007.

Thanks Kathleen,
I'll make sure I ask the question of Carla.

I have all the archives for UFWDA and the ULAF.  I also received a box or two from Harold Brown's niece last year upon the passing of her Aunt, Kay Brown (Harold's wife).  I have all the old certificate of incorporation from the various states we've incorporated.  All tolled, I have about 30 boxes in my possession.

Here is what I know for sure:

1976 - Initial meeting of the minds in Toledo, OH
1977 - Second meeting to establish by-laws, articles of incorporation, etc.in Golden, CO
1978 March 17,1978, date of incorporation in the state of OR United Four Wheel Drive Associations (with an s).
2001 UFWDA celebrated 25th anniversary (AGM held in Farmington, NM, Joyce Hillson was meeting chair for 25th anniversary celebration, with newly designed anniversary logo with 1976 2001 included.)
2006 - UFWDA celebrated 30th anniversary (Oak Ridge, TN)
