Attached is the Tellico trail closure appeal from the SFWDA, UFWDA, and Blueribbon Coalition.
We should have an answer within 45 days.

Thanks, Todd.  Let's hope the Forest Service becomes reasonable.  They haven't so far...

Don't worry, Doug.  We have too much at stake to give up or go away.  I think the Forest Service under-estimated us.  At least, I hope so... Grin

The Forest Service Deciding Officer for the administrative appeals filed by the Southern 4WD Association, United 4WD Associations, and BlueRibbon Coalition against Forest Supervisor Hilliardís decision to close the Upper Tellico OHV Area has released his decision.

The Deciding Officer has decided "for" the Forest Service, concurring with and affirming the October 14, 2009 decision for closure of the Upper Tellico OHV trails!

This constitutes the FINAL administrative determination on this issue by the Department Of Agriculture. Those who filed appeals are now free, under due process, to file suit in federal court.
