UFWDA is pleased to announce the return of the Trail Chef Competition at the 2010 Wheel-in Event. The competition was a great success last year and we are looking forward to the competition and the amazing dishes that are created.
Last year we had amazing and creative dinner items from Filet Mignon - to a hot dog in a wrap. The competition will be judged on the following criteria:
- Degree of Difficulty- what is the level of difficulty to create your menu on the trail
- Taste - clearly taste matters
- Presentation - How artfully do you present your dishes
- Creativity - Is your dish unique
You must present a full course meal for to be served to three judges with an appetizer, main course and dessert. All items must be prepared with only things that you can carry in your vehicle. You may use a grill but only if you have the ability to carry it in your vehicle.
