I went there to join the WFWDA cause on Facebook.  Clicking on the "join" button resulted in the following dialog: "Allowing Causes access will let it pull your profile information, photos, your friends' info, and other content that it requires to work."

Sorry, I dont think so.

Hey Doc.

This is typical of Facebook applications, you have to approve them showing your name and picture so that they show up next to your posts on the cause page, and your friend's info is used so that you can invite them to the cause via a list of your friends that shows up for you when you use that function. Basically, you're just letting them use your existing Facebook info for this particular application.
