UFWDA "One Dollar" Campaign
« on: March 05, 2010, 08:03:46 am »
Dave Logan posted info about the $1 campaign to the SFWDA BoD mailer yesterday.  I fulfilled my responsibility as SFWDA Curmudgeon and responded back that in today's climate of being green and paperless, I'll be damned if I am gonna get a pen or penicl (Gack) and an envelope and snailmail a dollar bill.  So I dutifully went to the UFWDA site (which, admittedly, I had not looked at in quite a while) and after perusing it for some time, was unable to find the donate button.

Where is it?  Why can't I, with a few mouseclicks, donate to UFWDA?  For heaven's sakes, gang, this should be made as simple as possible!!  How much revenue are you turning away?

Folks have been able to donate electronically (since 2008) here in the United Store...

Good point though.  Maybe instructions on the flyer on how to do so would be helpful.

OK, I found it, donation made.

Yall are making this too hard.  A donate button should be readily visible on the website on every page.  Honestly, I looked at the store, and thought you were selling jerry cans.  I didnt want a jerry can, I wanted to donate, 1.5 seconds after seeing the page, I was gone elsewhere looking for how to donate.  OK, so my attention span was too short, Im getting old already!!

Doc,

We have taken your advise and I have asked the webmaster to add a donate button to the front page so that they can click on it and get directed to the donation site directly.

Thank you for your support and for the donation!

Thanks
Marti

I like Doc's idea about a donate button on EVERY page. ;)

What are you supposed to do when you see an "endangered" animal eating an "endangered" plant?

This is the link to the survey questions for March.  Despite some people having already provided their details on the first survey, we do ask that you do so again please.

Hi Todd, getting basic ID from respondents allows us to assess the coverage of the surveys and where the great ideas are coming from.
