IRS has announced that some tax -exempt organizations are in danger of losing their tax-exempt status if they don't act before October 15.
Details here. They list all at-risk organziations by state.

While discovering that Capital Off Road Enthusiasts was on the list, I also noticed two other off-road clubs in VA.
APPALACHIAN OFF-ROAD CLUB PO BOX 592 ABINGDON VA and MOUNTAIN TRAILS OFF-ROADASSOCIATION INC PO BOX 501 ROSE HILL VA

I remember what a big deal it was to get that status and would hate to see anyone lose it needlessly.

What are you supposed to do when you see an "endangered" animal eating an "endangered" plant?
