Nice Newsletter John.

Glad everyone is allright!


Once you get a sticker fee, EVERYONE is going to have their hand out for a portion of the proceeds.
Here in Michigan, we have put language directly in the legislation that dictates how much can be spent in each area of the program (administration, law enforcement, maintenance, education, etc).  This has helped curb some of the greed within the system, but is not a cure-all.  If you are more successful, PLEASE let us know how you obtain that success!  We're ALWAYS open to other ideas.  BEST of luck with it.  It REALLY is the right thing to do.


Personally, I think it's time to hit up the entire 4x4 community (including manufacturers) for a program similar to the HUGELY successful Pittman-Robertson or Dingel-Johnson funding sources available at the Federal level for the improvement of hunting and fishing opportunities.  We need something similar to fund an improvement campaign of 4x4 opportunities nationally, and those have work extremely well for their intended purposes.
