Below is a link for a press release, issued Monday, March 21, 2011 by the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman John L. Mica.  This committee will hold listening sessions this week in New York and Pennsylvania to discuss pending surface transportation legislation, which funds, among other things, the Recreational Trails Program (RTP).

Members are encouraged to attend meetings in Rochester and Cortland , New York on Thursday March 24, 2011 and meetings in Scranton and King of Prussia , Pennsylvania on Friday, March 25, 2011.

UFWDA, in partnership with more than 500 organizations, is encouraging congress to support reauthorization of the RTP as a discrete program in the new surface transportation legislation.  Please let the voices of the four wheel drive community be heard at these important listening sessions.
