Boggy-Glade Planning Continues -    After receiving public input during public hearings in July, and discussing this project with Dolores and Montezuma Counties, the Forest Service has developed a new preferred Alternative D.  The Forest Service is seeking comment on Alternative D which includes more motorized roads and trails, and limited motorized game retrieval.  A letter summarizing this new preferred alternative, and an Alternative D map is located below.  For additional information visit the Projects Page to view the revised Environmental Assessment information which has been updated.  The Alternative D Map shows the latest proposals for roads and trails open for general public use in the Boggy-Glade area which includes Boggy Draw, Cottonwood Road, Salter Y, Glade Lake area, Ryman and Black Snag areas.
