Paragon Adventure Park being evicted
« on: February 02, 2007, 09:47:21 pm »
Those of us back east are following the plight of Paragon adventure park.  This is a private offroad park that is being evicted for breach of lease on their land contract.  See the threads here

It appears this has been an ongoing legal battle for a while now.  You can see the details in the threads.

Can the collective knowledge of UFWDA offer some assistance in this matter?

The "collective knowledge of UFWDA" has been in contact with the operators of Paragon for some time.

Kyle has retained legal counsel and pursuing the legal path as he must as it is a lease between him and the land holding corporation.

UFWDA is not a named party on the lease.  As such, our direct involvement is limited.

This is a frustrating event for the recreation community as the loss of Paragon leaves little opportunity in the region.

We recognize the importance of Paragon and urge everyone to continue with the visable show of support.

We know that Kyle and Steph have worked to be good neighbors in the community and have supported his efforts to create a recreation opportunity.

We regret it has come down to a legal issue and a great recreation opprotunity is lost.
