United to hold Unprecedented Tour of the Southwest
« on: February 22, 2012, 11:43:54 pm »
UFWDA will have an unprecedented tour of the southwest. The stars (and events) have aligned to grant the United Four Wheel Drive Associations the perfect opportunity to have a representative visit our members and friends at the Arizona State Association of four Wheel Drive Clubs meeting on Saturday, February 25th, and our friends in California at the Cal4Wheel meeting on Sunday the 26th, with the 50th Annual Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari being the big draw the following weekend. Then there’s a week lull in the activity that will be filled with visits to area four wheel drive manufacturers and businesses, before attending the Reno Off Road Expo March 23rd – 25th. The entire trip culminates at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab with the anticipated BFG Top Trials announcements. If you think we’ll be near your area, drop an email to Business@UFWDA.org. We’d love to add you to our plans!

Had a wonderful time at the Arizona State Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs' meeting in Parker, AZ yesterday. It's really nice to see so many concerned wheelers doing everyting they can to keep their (and OUR) access to public lands OPEN in ther area. A special thanks to UFWDA Delegate, Sandy McCullen and ASAFWDC President, Becky Antle for their hospitality during the meeting! Keep up the GREAT work ladies!

UFWDA, Cal4Wheel, and BRC's Del Albright have joined forces to promote land use at the 50th TDS Desert Safari!  Look for us while you're not busy driving some of the amazing assortment of trials available to participants.

We'll also be touring the Poison Spiders' facility on our way to TDS!

If you're in Moab for the Easter Jeep Safari, listen to 97.1 tomorrow morning to hear an interview with the United Four Wheel Drive Associations representative (me).

Well, I'm finally back at the office!  I'll be writing a series of articles about the trip and posting them here and on our FB Page too.

Should start seeing them posted Monday or Tuesday.
