Dear Interested Individuals, Organizations, and Agencies,
I am pleased to provide you with, and invite your comments on, the preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Travel Management Decision to Include Eight Additional Routes into SNF NFTS. The Sierra National Forest (SNF) proposes to include eight OHV routes into the SNF NFTS to allow travel on complete loops and important trails for OHV travel
. The project is located in several areas of the Forest. Maps are included as part of the preliminary EA.
This comment period is intended to provide those interested in, or affected by this proposal, an opportunity to make their concerns known prior to a decision being made by the Responsible Official, Dean Gould. Those who provide comments by the close of the comment period will be eligible to appeal the decision pursuant to 36 CFR part 215 regulations
. Only those who provide comments during this comment period will be eligible to appeal the decision pursuant to 36 CFR 215. Any individual or representative from an organization submitting comments must either sign the comments or verify identity upon request in order to maintain appeal eligibility.
