Comment on the Draft Forest Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement

We invite you to participate in reviewing the Draft Forest Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and provide your comments during this important phase of the plan revision process.  A 90-day public comment period starts with publication of the Notice of Availability in the Federal Register. Comments must be postmarked or emailed no later than November 28, 2012..

Comments on these two documents should address the specific content of the plan and the adequacy of the analysis of the alternatives discussed in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement. This will enable the Forest Service to respond to the comments and address any relevant needs before finalizing the Forest Plan and Final Environmental Impact Statement.
