CALIFORNIANS, LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD
SEMA Schedules May 16 Sacramento Rally To Meet State Lawmakers
Join other SEMA members as they converge on the state capitol on Wednesday, May 16, to help educate California lawmakers on the importance of our industry to the state economy. Reserve your place to participate in this SEMA-sponsored “Sacramento Rally.” Together we can make a difference in protecting and promoting what’s best for your business.
Sacramento Rally Agenda
Tuesday, May 15, 2007: Arrive late afternoon/evening.
Wednesday, May 16, 2007: Briefing by SEMA staff, followed by SEMA-scheduled morning/afternoon meetings with lawmakers, lunch break and happy-hour reception. Depart late afternoon/early evening.
SEMA will assist its members in securing hotel rooms and making other travel arrangements. More details about Rally specifics will be made available in the near future.
It is critical that we increase awareness of our industry in the state capitol and expand our participation in the debate of significant state issues, such as the Governor’s proposed universal health care plan. The Rally promises to solidify existing relationships with California legislators and build new alliances as lawmakers consider issues impacting the specialty automotive industry. Let your voice be heard.
