In febuary of this year I joined UFWDA because it was required in order to register for the sno*blind event put on by Mudchuggers in Michigan. To tell you the truth I had never heard about UFWDA before that. I plan on being a member for a long time. This looks like a good site I will have to explore it some more. ;D

Tony

Welcome to the forum and site.
I am an old Michigander from years ago.
Stuck out here on the west coast with the Navy now here in Cali.
I like this area, and do not plan on going back to Michigan.  Too much snow, and cold.

Again, welcome, and look forward to your knowledge and information here.

Thanks for the welcomes. I love michigan and I hope I never have to move out of state. But with the way Michigan's economy is going right now, it doesnt look so good. If I had a choice I would be living in the U.P. I love snow and winter! Its fun to wheel in too.

Hey Tony, WELCOME to United!

We are from Northwest Ohio but wheel alot in Michigan.

We were at Sno*Blind 2007 and if you were at the banquet, I presented the Mudchuggers with the United Jack Edward's Award for 2006.

I also love the UP, just don't get there often enough.

You'll probably see more WELCOME posts from some Great Lakes FWDA members who frequently check in here also.  You can check us out also at www.glfwda.org

See ya on the trails!        ----Doug aka DDS4X4

Hi Tony!

Another Michigander here.  I attended Sno-Blind 2005 and had great time for the time I spent.  A busted front diff shortened the event for me (pinion cracked the case), still uncertain as to how - but it is all water under the bridge.

UFWDA has done a great deal to help us in Michigan in addition to all the Land Use Issues they are involved with.

Glad to have you!
