Here is an opportunity for United to broaden it's membership base, and reach out to a market that is ripe with new blood.  The FJ Cruiser summit is looking at having a significant turnout for it's first event.    I am planning to be there - and am willing to donate some "booth time" if United is attending.

FJ Cruiser Owners Unite!
The first annual 2007 FJ Cruiser Summit will be held in Ouray, CO on July 12th - 15th, 2007 and will mark the first national event held for all FJ Cruiser owners. The 2007 Summit will give owners the opportunity to meet and socialize outside of a virtual world and test their skills and their FJ Cruisers in beautiful southwestern Colorado.

The Summit will include three skill level trail runs everyday, from near-beginner to advanced. Expect FJCruiserForums.com vendor booths and participation, special guests, a raffle or two, and plenty of good times had by all. All are welcome - family, singles - there is no exclusion for this event.

Join us for the first of what should become an annual tradition of some great people, amazing locations, and a chance to truly test the abilities of your FJ Cruiser.

Above you will find links to lodging for the event, as well as information about Ouray itself.

H Steve.  Thanks so much for posting this information.  We'll be checking the link you provided and we will figure out what arrangements we can make for a booth.  Thank you for offering to help UFWDA.  We'll get back to you!

This event is coming up pretty quickly... and I know that there are lot of other things going on too  (Camp Jeep, AGM, Summer vacations etc...)

Just wondering if United is planning to be represented officially...   or not?

I will not be there, but maybe a member that is in the area, could host a table for us, and pass out info!

I think maybe this is a way to get our name out in front of them again?

Thanks
