I think a link to the main page from the forum would be great, the post about the store made me seach for a way to the main page.

A link probably would be good, but I usually just delete everything in the address bar after .org and I get back there.

The forum opens in it's own window. The original website should still be in your original window. I'll take a look at doing it in a single window.

I think often times people come directly to http://www.ufwda.org/smf/ without ever going to the main page.
