VIRGINIA FOUR WHEEL DRIVE Challenge!


In 2007, the United Four Wheel Drive Associations started a fund-raising campaign called "ONE TANK OF FUEL," which drew in a handful of caring donations. Since then, we’ve seen gas prices rise to unprecedented levels here in the U.S. Feeling the pinch with you is United Four Wheel Drive Associations. We love taking care of our four wheeling trails across the country – breathing in the freedom of time outdoors, enjoying our sport, our way of life with friends and families. But we need financial support to do this AND have top-notch legal representation too.


UFWDA is and always will be a member generated organization and first and foremost the member comes first! We’ll always need donations to keep our organization strong and moving in an upward pace for access to trails and to provide a safe environment for our families. We need each other for this to work.


The Board and members of a lone club in Virginia called the River City Trail Runners decided to direct their 2008 fundraising effort to United Four Wheel Drive Associations. All of its members donated the equivalent of a tank of fuel. Just recently during the Virginia Four Wheel Drive Association monthly meeting, they took it to an even higher level and challenged all other UFWDA members and members associations to contribute to the campaign.
