PROGRAMS - UFWDA Annual Web Award
The Web Award does not need to be applied for. A committee appointed
by the BOD of at least three (3) people will review all current paid
Organizations approximately 1 month prior to annual convention. Websites
will be judged on a functional or quantitative individual basis using
but not limited to ease of use, content, content pertaining to the future
of four wheeling, adherence to Tread Lightly! Principles, promotion
of members/member clubs, promotion of UFWDA (counts double) and the
presentation of UFWDA Materials and/or logos.
Those individual evaluations will narrow the list to the top 5 (and
ties) Organization websites. Those sites will be delivered to the BOD
as a whole and the BOD will be asked to visit each site and rank the
sites in order they feel does the best job of presentation - a qualitative
approach. The committee will then compile those responses.
Remember: Websites are not easy, and they take a lot of work.
Use them as a tool, treat them with respect, respect your readers, respect
your topics and it will provide you with a great resource and library
today and in the future.
