Title: Anyone going to SEMA?
Post by: Steve Jackson on October 15, 2008, 11:14:57 pm
Wondering if anyone else will be at SEMA who might want to get an impromptu land-use mixer going?  Just an informal visting session, put some faces to names, swap stories, trade ideas, etc.  Maybe something Thursday night if anyone is interested.

Is UFWDA going to have a booth there this year?

Steve

Yes we will have a booth there again this year.  Marti is working all the logistics for us as we speak.
But we are planning on the following attending: Marti, Wayne, Trish, Gene and myself.

Not sure about the land use mixer, and I will throw it out to our group to see what they want to do.

I was thinking about Thursday night if anyone is hip to that.

I just found out about the NAMRC meeting on monday before SEMA.  I've never heard of NAMRC before John Stewart told me about the meeting, although both UFWDA and U4WDA are listed as "sponsoring asscoiations."

No wonder we have such a hard time getting anything done.  We probably need 20-30 more groups just to stay informed about the seemingly endless number of groups already out there.  Does any single person have this whole picture in their head?  What a mess, maybe NORA WILL straighten everything out.

I look forward to seeing you guys (and gal) at the show.

I know my thursday evening will be busy getting ready to head out to Hump and Bump on Friday after SEMA.

I have to go grocery shopping before my girlfriend flies in on Friday.

I will see what I can do though.
